Present Research Interests

1. The effects on families who have to move frequently from one city to the other, from one country to another, from one culture to another.

2. Cultural events for everybody - Theatre for All,  for blind and visually handicapped people and also for deaf people. Investigating facilities which are necessary for handicapped people to share cultural events with others. Students are trained and educated for assisting people wit various disabilities.

3. Training the use of those senses that are the most important for brain activities according to new scientific neurological knowledge.

4. Evaluation of  schools and kindergartens coping with our model  „Sensing-Feeling-Thinking“ as compared to regular schools and kindergartens.

5. Finding  new ways of moving for handicapped people such as canoing, walking, dancing, etc. Blind, or visually handicapped people, or spastic, rheumatic or asthmatic people etc. can be helped according to Adapted Physical Activity (AFAPA)

6. Comparing Canadian health care with Austrian health care.

Joint Clinic with Dr. Toni Reinelt for psychology and social education for children, adolescents and adults. Fields of activity: Training Analyses, control analyses and therapies for Affective Guided Imagery, Autogenic Training, Functional Relaxation,  Adlerian therapies, Play therapies, therapies according to Montessori counselling, psychodiagnostics etc.  Multisensory approaches and therapy for children with dyslexia.

1983 – 1997
University Assistant at the Interfaculty Institute of Education Department Special and Remedial Education of the University of Vienna/Austria and the University Clinic of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry. Fields of Activity: research, teaching and administration, supervision and counselling of students. Psycho- Diagnostic, psychotherapies, counselling of ambulant patients – children, adolescents,  parents,  families.

1977- 1983
Practicum at the University Clinic of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry. Fields of Activity: Psycho- Diagnostic, psychotherapies, counselling of ambulant patients – children, adolescents,  parents,  families, group-therapies with children with Autogenic Training, Affective Guided Imagery and multi-sensory therapy according to Montessori. Practicum and work with Frau Hunger-Kaindlstorfer, specialist for children with dyslexia. Private practice for children with dyslexia and their therapy by multisensory approaches.
